CLOTHING
FÅRTEX® insulation is lightweight and temperature-regulating. It keeps you warm when it’s cold and cool when it’s hot. Unlike polyester or down insulation, it continues to insulate even when wet.
FÅRTEX® is also antibacterial, helping to prevent bad odors, and is allergy-friendly. Wool itself is not allergenic — it’s the fibers that can cause irritation. Since the insulation is enclosed within other fabrics, it does not trigger allergic reactions.
FÅRTEX® is suitable for both fashion and outdoor applications.

FÅRTEX® is one of the key partners in the project the Glacier Blanket, and together with Oskar Kihlborg, has produced a 200 m2 Glacier Blanket - an initiative designed to highlight and visualize the effects of climate change.
Glaciers in Sweden — and around the world — are melting at an increasingly rapid pace. The deep blue ice within the glaciers is disappearing and no longer regenerating the way it used to. This melting contributes to rising sea levels, more frequent natural disasters, and negatively impacts nearby ecosystems.
The Blankets with FÅRTEX® insulation is an action to make a climate awareness of the alarmed speed of the melting from year to year.

FÅRTEX® is used as insulation behind the interior ceilings and walls of Land Rovers from Dinedor Cross Garage in England, providing both thermal and acoustic benefits.
FÅRTEX® helps regulate interior temperature by keeping the cold out in winter and reducing heat buildup in warmer conditions.
